 Solutions come easily from a calm mind.

  An Open Mind

The mind is like a parachute - it works best when it is open. How
quickly we make assumptions, jump to conclusions and close our mind.
How easily we form and hold fast to our opinions and then close our
mind. How fast do we make a judgment, slap on a label and then close
our mind. A closed mind never knows the delight of playing with
possibilities, being enlightened by others point of view or enjoying
the diversity of human life. An open and understanding mind never
assumes, doesn't jump to conclusions and won't hold fast to any
opinion. Perhaps it is no wonder a closed mind is not a very relaxed
mind.

The one who is content is creative and thereby successful. 

Projection: It is usually believed that to be content is to have nothing to look forward to. And the one who is content is the one who tries for nothing new. So it is usually believed that contentment brings hardly any great achievements. 

 

Solution: We need to ensure our own contentment in whatever we do. Because when we are not content we find that the mind is not able to work to the fullest extent. On the other hand contentment brings creativity. This creativity ensures our constant progress and thereby our success.

Destiny

 Your thoughts guide you to your destiny. If you always do what you have
always done, you will always get what you have always got. If you
always think the same you will always get to the same place. Think in a
new way and you will be a new person. Give happiness to all and you
will live in peace. Create peace in your mind and you will create a
world of peace around you.

Projection: Whenever we make a positive contribution, we expect those around us to recognize and appreciate it. But there are occasions where we do not receive such recognition and we then feel disheartened which in turn doesn't let us give our best in all we do. 

 

Solution: Whenever we find ourselves expecting people to appreciate us, we need to remind ourselves that the diamond doesn't need to speak about it's own sparkle but is recognized because of its speciality. We, too, need to discover our own speciality and work with it. We will, then, be satisfied whether we get recognition from others or not.

 To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong.

 

Ego

One of the most difficult things to do is letting go of your ego. And
yet, it is very simple, easy and effortless and one of the most
powerful things you can do. And yet, when you do it you give up the
need and the desire for power. When you can bring yourself to get
beyond your own ego, you raise yourself to a whole new level of
awareness, experience and effectiveness. When you can think, live and
act unconstrained by the limitations of your ego, the possibilities are
truly endless. Your worries, your fears, your doubts, anxieties,
disappointments and hesitation to move forward are all sustained by
your ego. Imagine the power of leaving all those limitations behind.
Spend a few minutes, a few hours, or an entire day unconcerned about
what others will think, or what's in it for you, or whether something
offends you or not. Feel the freedom, delight in the ability to
accomplish, and explore possibilities that you may never before have
even known about.

To have cooperation, love and mercy is to be a giver. 

Projection: When we see others' weaknesses all we can have generally are negative thoughts about them. We can, then, no longer help the other person in any way as such negative thoughts only further strengthen the others' negativity. 

 

Solution: Instead of reacting with negativity, we need to have mercy for the ones who are in the control of their own weakness and see if we can help them in any way. And the only way we can encourage the others to change is with love.

Humility

 Real humility is rare because to have it you have to want nothing, yet when you have it you get everything.

The Difference of "I"

There is only the difference of the letter "i" between the words
'bliss' and 'bless'. When we stay in bliss then we naturally
draw the blessings of others. We don't need to ask for the blessings,
they just come. However, if our nature is even slightly sensitive we
will either clash with others or get caught up in them. Clashing and
getting caught makes the soul distressed and tired. Become free of
these and you will feel that your hands are no longer tied and so you
can give. Those who are free can become 'phool' (flowers). When we
are not free we either prick others or we get pricked by others.

When there is equality in what we understand, desire and do, there is success. 

Projection: We usually recognize the need to bring about a change in ourselves from the signals we get from different situations. We also feel strongly that we have to change, but most times we find ourselves not taking into action and our change is limited only to understanding and having a desire. 

 

Solution: As soon as we understand that we have to change, we have to work at bringing about a change in ourselves immediately. We need to tell ourselves that there is no better time than now when we can bring about a change. We, then, find ourselves successful in all we do.

God is only a thought away

We should ask ourselves; do we react to situations in a positive or
negative manner? The way we react is very much dependent upon our
mental attitude and this in turn is directed by our thoughts. Linking
our thoughts to the problems that surround us brings unlimited tension
and worry. By linking them to the subtle and powerful vibrations of the
unlimited source of peace, tranquility and knowledge that is, God the
Supreme, we automatically have a constant source of good uplifting
vibrations which can settle our troubled minds. He is the Father of all
souls, the one who is there to give help at any time. In a time where
our thoughts wander with little or no direction, where we find it
difficult to talk or relate to people, it is worth remembering that
God, who understands us, is only a thought away.

The ones who can transform even negative to positive are the ones who remain cheerful. 

Projection: It seems natural for us to have negative thoughts when we are faced with any negative situation or when we are interacting with someone who is using his negativity. We then try to change the place or avoid the person in order to maintain our positivity.

Solution: We need to practice seeing positivity in everything that happens and everyone we come across. A long time of practice will help us see the positive aspect of the seemingly most negative situation. This practice will enable us to maintain our positivity in the most negative situation. 

Seeds

What we see today may not be just the fruit of chance but the fruit of seeds planted in the past. Plant seeds of peace now and create a life of peace in the future.

Change the present to shape the future

Even if we are liberated from time past, we can create imaginary chains
in the future. We cannot enjoy contentment in the present when chasing
the next desirable thing. We say "I'll be happy when...", "if
only... " Fear and false forward-looking steals from our present
happiness. With faith and determined effort we can make changes in the
present that shape our future. The future is a house we build today,
but cannot live in till tomorrow. God's love gives us the courage to
see ourselves clearly and change ourselves now.

Seeing With Spiritual Eyes

My eyes are the most powerful medium through which I, the soul, not only absorb information from the outside to the inside but also express myself to others from the inside to outside. All that the soul possesses inside it or is made up of in the form of thoughts, feelings, attitudes, positive virtues, even weaknesses, in fact all personality traits, are expressed through my eyes to others and shared with others. As I look towards others, my eyes can be used to shower others with pure love, peace, joy, power etc. and the same eyes, if not used appropriately, can shower others with anger, jealousy, criticism, hatred etc. My eyes also express whatever wisdom or knowledge I possess inside.

When I stay in the awareness that I am a soul, a spiritual being of subtle light, situated at the center of my forehead, my eyes are used to see others in the same way with a spiritual vision. This leads to my spiritual upliftment. When I stay in the awareness that I am a body, my eyes are used to see others in the same way with a non-spiritual or a body-conscious vision. This brings me down on a spiritual level. A spiritual vision helps me see others with a sense of equality, instead of with feelings of comparison or competitiveness.Usually, on a physical level, I create all sorts of impressions of another person from just one glance through my eyes, about their age, gender, looks, position in society, job, how rich they are, their dressing sense, caste, nationality etc. and many a times, very commonly, I make various assumptions about their personality or behaviour. In the state of soul-consciousness, that changes. Looking out I see souls, and I see them as my brothers, on exactly the same level as me, neither higher, nor lower. A spiritual vision reminds me of the original, positive qualities of each soul, instead of their present personality. It also reminds me that each soul has incarnated from the soul world to play its various roles through different physical costumes in this unlimited drama on the world stage. Age, gender, appearances, status etc. which are visible to me today are just temporary ones. The same soul has been in the past and will be in the future in different physical costumes or roles, where all these have been and will be different and the same applies to me too. This makes me rise above comparisons and I am no longer judgmental about the other.

Projection: We usually expect others to give happiness to us. We rarely ever think of giving happiness to others. We don't usually get what we expect because the other person is also expecting the same from us. 

 
Solution: Whatever the kind of person we only have to make sure that we continue to give happiness to others without any expectations. For this we have to increase our own treasure of happiness by continuing to be happy under all circumstances.
